Meet Megan

I am a talent development enthusiast; my passion is helping organizations grow & develop talent.  Over my 20-year career I have helped organizations optimize performance through the power of people and have gained expertise across the full HR life cycle.  Building upon my early career in public accounting, I realized that financial business fundamentals are only one part of the success equation for sustainable business growth.

After studying Labor Relations and HR strategy in graduate school, I joined GE’s HR leadership program and then spent the next 12 years supporting various GE businesses in both HR Business Partner, and Talent Development roles.  I helped lead the shared services organizational design, execution, and lean process improvement initiative across all of GE.  Other leadership roles I have held include Head of HR at Ellington Management Group, Head of Corporate HR at Petco and Sr. Leader of HR for Worldpay’s Operations function.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame, BBA and Cornell University, MILR.  I am a certified Brain Based Coach through the Neuroleadership Institute, and a Certified 200-hour Yoga Instructor.  I reside in beautiful Wilmington, NC.

Testimonials

I was thoroughly impressed with Megan’s work orchestrating and carrying out our senior leadership retreat. She is not only highly skilled, professional, and knowledgeable, but she brought a tone and breadth of inclusivity, humor, and wit to our team gathering. What was so profound was that before you knew it, Megan was a part of our team and not the outlier “consultant.” She exercised her own values and principles that trust is amongst the key infrastructures to a team, the team’s vision and work making our time with her and together so important, relevant and lasting. Megan is truly a forward thinking leader and guider for teams and I would recommend her work to any organization.

Megan delivered leadership training to our sales operations organization during Covid, and so engaged with the team virtually via Zoom. We had specific training needs and she delivered a custom solution for us. She engaged with the team as though she was in the room, highly energetic, and knowledgeable in the material. She facilitated a good amount of discussion and learning transfer was high. She received high marks from the leaders and we will use her again. Highly recommend for future engagements.

I knew I needed to restructure a portion of the support staff in my organization but didn’t know where to start.  My Human Resources department lacked the expertise at that time, and I was overwhelmed at the thought of reorganizing job roles and reporting structures and quite simply I’m not qualified to do so.  Megan was highly recommended to me by a colleague, so the Dean and I reached out.  We are still very glad that we did!  Megan did an amazing job engaging every level of stakeholder from the support staff themselves, the supervisors and others involved in the process.  By the end of the process, we had a well-defined staffing restructure mapped out along with promotional plans for a few key staff.  The results have been amazing!  Due to the nature of our work, we are constantly under compliance audits and have had significantly better work results.  Employee morale has increased, and our efficiency is through the roof.  I have recommended Megan to others and will continue to do so.  I look forward to partnering with her in the future!
